Save big on this midrange Motorola phone, now 33% off

Amazon’s Prime Day sales event is on its second day. It’s a time when the platform rolls out a ton of discounts on laptops, soundbars, and especially smartphones. If you’re looking for a mobile, you’re in luck because, for a limited time, Motorola’s 2025 Moto G phone is on sale for $200, a 33% discount.

It’s crazy to see the Moto G Power at a discount, because it’s already such a cheap phone. Normally, Motorola’s handheld retails for $300. Although it may be cheap, that doesn’t mean it’s low-quality. The Moto G Power is a well-rounded midrange smartphone that stands out for its solid performance, durability, and large 6.8-inch Full HD+ display. The bright screen runs at a 120Hz refresh rate. Paired with its powerful speakers, this phone feels like a pocket-sized movie theater — perfect for watching movies or shows.
It does struggle a bit with running mobile games. Titles like Honkai: Star Rail run mostly fine, but the game’s graphical fidelity will take a big hit. Day-to-day performance is decent thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. Memory is limited to 8GB of RAM. However, thanks to a feature called RAM Boost, you can convert unused storage space into extra memory.

Alongside the chipset is a massive 5,000mAh battery that offers multi-day battery life. During testing, the Moto G Power lasted a full three days on a single charge before shutting down. I should also mention that the mobile device boasts a resistance rating of IP69, meaning it can survive brief submersion underwater.

How I rated this deal
As per ZDNET’s rating system, I grant this deal a 4/5. Like I said earlier, it is pretty nuts to see a smartphone like this go on sale. I never thought it would happen within a year of its launch. I recommend this device to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative to all the expensive flagship models. It’s an underrated phone that deserves all the attention it gets.
