It even showed off a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/tech\/965997\/samsung-spider-man-galaxy-z-fold-8-teaser\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"c-regularLink\">&#8220;brand new shape&#8221;<\/a> in the Spider-Man trailer, so all signs point to the much-discussed wider Galaxy Z Fold 8 launching next week. This will be Samsung&#8217;s seventh generation of foldable phones, so we expect some innovation on the form factor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Also: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/samsung-galaxy-s26-ultra-review\/\">I&#8217;ve used every Samsung Galaxy S26 model &#8211; here&#8217;s why the Ultra is frustratingly the best<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rumors suggest that the Z Fold 8 will feature a bigger battery at 5,000 mAh, a dual camera setup, and a tablet-adjacent aspect ratio. We haven&#8217;t seen many rumors that it&#8217;s slated to launch next week, but maybe Samsung is moving in stealth on this one. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If it doesn&#8217;t launch this week, we&#8217;d estimate a launch date closer to early 2027 &#8212; potentially at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/feature\/ces-2026\/\">CES<\/a> in Las Vegas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Galaxy Glasses<\/h2>\n<p>This could be another curveball product release, but Samsung&#8217;s executive vice president of mobile business, Jay Kim, said in February that the Galaxy XR Glasses would be released later this year. Well, it&#8217;s officially &#8220;later&#8221;, but we still don&#8217;t know a whole lot.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/samsung-ai-smart-glasses-features\/\">We do know a little<\/a>&nbsp;about Samsung&#8217;s plans, though. For one, they&#8217;ll have an eye-level camera built in and integrate with the rest of the Galaxy ecosystem.
