However, how you can use this feature is very specific. This will become important later.<\/p>\n<h2>Where did these warnings come from?<\/h2>\n<p>I&#8217;ve seen warnings issued by several law enforcement agencies over the past few days. The users have to choose at every interaction whether they want to exchange information or just receive the other person&#8217;s contact details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Also: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/9-top-mobile-security-threats-and-how-you-can-avoid-them\/\" rel=\"follow\">9 top mobile security threats and how you can avoid them<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Also, referring back to Apple&#8217;s instructions, this feature doesn&#8217;t work if the iPhone is locked. <\/p>\n<h2>If this isn&#8217;t a risk, why are law enforcement agencies warning people?<\/h2>\n<p>Not sure. I&#8217;ve reached out to a few and am still waiting for a reply.
