As noted in Monday\u2019s message to the community, our U-M Division of Public Safety and Security and federal law enforcement partners are involved in this investigation,&#8221; said Ono.<\/p>\n<p>The school initially reported network troubles on Sunday and on Monday took the unusual step of shutting down network access, just as the school year was starting the academic year. However, no public information that we&#8217;re aware of suggests the current incident is related. \u00ae<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"crosshead\">Updated to add<\/h3>\n<p>On Wednesday, the University of Michigan <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/president.umich.edu\/news-communications\/messages-to-the-community\/notice-internet-restored-on-all-u-m-campuses\/\">announced<\/a> that internet service has been restored on all campuses, and reiterated that no information would be provided about the \u201csecurity issue\u201d while the investigation is underway.<\/p>\n<p> READ MORE <a
