If you’ve been hit by the LockerGoga ransomware, an international law enforcement effort has publicly released a tool to fix the problem.<\/p>\n

LockerGoga is the Windows software nasty behind the 2019 infection at Norsk Hydro<\/a> that shut down the Norwegian power and metals giant’s global network for a week and cost the company over $100m, not to mention the knock-on effects further down the supply chain.<\/p>\n

Files with a ‘.locked’ extension are an indicator that LockerGoga has scrambled your documents, and can be restored without paying up, according to Bitdefender, which worked with Europol, Z\u00fcrich law enforcement, and the NoMoreRansom Project on the now-available decryptor tool.<\/p>\n
