Raimondo has publicly <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theregister.com\/2022\/06\/02\/us_eu_taiwan_trade_talks\/\" rel=\"noopener\">stated<\/a> that 70 percent of America\u2019s chips come from Taiwan.<\/p>\n<p>China also relies on foreign chips. It is <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theregister.com\/2022\/05\/19\/china_chip_production_prediction\/\" rel=\"noopener\">predicted<\/a> to produce only about 20 percent of the chips it uses by 2026.<\/p>\n<p>TSMC chairman Mark Liu <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theregister.com\/2022\/08\/03\/tsmc_chairman_interview\/\" rel=\"noopener\">told CNN<\/a> last weekend that China composes about 10 percent of the company&#8217;s business. People claiming to be members of the group allegedly changed the website to include messaging welcoming Pelosi to Taiwan in retaliation for DDoS attacks on the Taiwanese Office of the President website.<\/p>\n<p>The defacement was taken down, however the <a target=\"_blank\"
