CyberX has so far raised $48 million over five funding rounds from investors including Inven Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, Glilot Capital Partners, Flint Capital, ff Venture Capital, and OurCrowd. Its latest <a href=\"https:\/\/cyberx-labs.com\/press-releases\/18-million-strategic-funding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">round<\/a> raised $18 million in March 2019.<\/p>\n<p>CyberX was founded in 2013 by CEO Omer Schnieder and CTO Nir Giller to provide greater visibility and security into devices connected to the IoT and industrial control systems across IT and OT environments. Its technology discovers and profiles IoT assets, provides a risk score with mitigation guidance for each device, monitors network traffic, and alerts when devices exhibit suspicious behavior that could indicate a compromise or misconfiguration.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, CyberX announced a new API-level integration with Microsoft Azure Security Center for IoT, giving customers of both the ability to view security across managed and unmanaged IoT devices. The company also confirmed it had joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, a group of companies that integrated their technology with Microsoft tools.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft and CyberX declined to comment on the acquisition.
